KMX15RA Control in Neutral Position

The control mechanism of the Marine KMX15RA valve in the neutral position involves the following hydraulic flow operations:

  • Hydraulic fluid from pump P1 enters casing A (101) through the inlet port (P1), passing through the center bypass (21) and the parallel path (22).
  • Hydraulic fluid from pump P2 enters casing B (102) via the inlet port (P2), flowing through the center bypass (18) and the parallel path (6).
  • Pump P1’s fluid is directed back to the tank through the center bypass (21), negative control orifice (NR1), the return path (13), and the return port (R2).
  • Pump P2’s fluid is also returned to the tank through the center bypass (18), negative control orifice (NR2), return path (4), and return port (R2).
  • Fluid in paths (6) and (22) is blocked, preventing it from returning to the tank.

When a control lever is activated:

  • Fluid from pump P2 is directed to the travel right spool (301) via path (18) and to the spools: option (309), boom1 (303), bucket (304), and arm2 (306) via path (6).
  • Fluid from pump P1 is supplied to the travel left spool (310) through path (7), while the swing (305), boom2 (307), and arm1 (302) spools are fed from path (22).
